Finalist in NHS Excellence in Supply Awards 2018
NHS in the North have shortlisted Capita Intelligent Communications for the category Value Based Procurement, for their work with Cheshire and Wirral Partnership Foundation Trust.
The initiative for this particular project was to provide an offsite service for the digitisation of healthcare records with the aim to eliminate the reliance on, and management of, traditional paper based healthcare record and to implement a digital solution. This would enable the Trust to free up valuable space and realise cost savings by not having to manage a cohort of patient records.
For Cheshire and Wirral Partnership Foundation Trust, we transport, process, dispose or return records securely and swiftly, to give healthcare organisations instant access to their patient records. Additionally, we have also helped with one of their key objectives – to provide the Trust with a service that allowed for the prioritisation of records scanning and catered for urgent requests to be actioned within 4 hours and for the overall project to be completed in a timely manner.
With over 20 years’ experience in supporting organisations to deliver better healthcare, our digital solutions are designed to help healthcare organisations meet – and exceed – the twin pressures of improving patient care and reducing costs. The extent of our experience in health, coupled with our much wider experience across the public and private sectors, allows us to bring new innovations, service models and technologies to the sector by drawing on experience elsewhere.
