Capita’s Go Local week (29 October- 2 November)
This week many Capita employees will be volunteering their time/fundraising for local charities and lending their support to help our local communities thrive.
They will be involved in a range of initiatives including volunteering at local schools, homeless shelters, hospices and orphanages. Colleagues will also be fundraising for local and national causes.
As part of this initiative a team of volunteers took charge of The Passage Resource Centre kitchen for the day where they cooked and served a three course meal for clients of The Passage. The Passage Resource Centre offers a wide range of services to meet the varying and complex needs of rough sleepers in Westminster. Their aim is to help individuals address the issues that have contributed to them being – or are keeping them – homeless, and to enable them to move on to live safe, happy and fulfilling lives.
