Capita awarded place on government print supplies framework
Capita Document & Information Services (CDIS) has been awarded a place on a framework to provide customers across the public sector with access to multifunctional devices (MFDs) such as printers and photocopiers, managed print and records information management services.
The Crown Commercial Service (CCS) “Multifunctional Devices, Imaged Print and Content Services, and Records and Information Management” framework (RM3781) is split into seven lots. Capita has been awarded a place on multi-sourced lots 2 and 3. The estimated value of these two lots, as per the published OJEU notice, is up to £385M over the next four years.
Lot 2 – “MFD’s and Print Management Software Services” – is for the provision of devices ranging fro entry level, stand alone to fully networked print room equipment, along with the required software to support organisations with document workflow and relevant business process requirements.
Lot 3 – “Managed Print and Content Management Services” – is for the provision of a “Fully Outsourced Solution” which enables the strategic management of information. Suppliers will provide hardware, software, applications and ongoing management of solutions, including advice and recommendations.
